hi there, i am going to build a track day turbo mini, my plans are to buy a good cond rolling shell, with most or all bodywork done (like laundrymike's but maybe a bit cheaper) ready for me to buy a metro turbo engine and drop it in, obviously with the subframe modified, to be honest this is my first project car, although i am handy with these kind of things and am budding to do as much work myself as i can, the mini needs to be road legal, although i will trailor the car for the near future, i would like people in the know's advice and suggestions on the build, mainly the engine, i would be looking for around 150bhp, and when the engines built i will have it tuned at a rolling road, i am in manchester, are there any mini specialists close by? thanks a lot for all help Edited by aml on 17th Apr, 2007. |
