Hello just wondering where people get there little carbon fibre mirrors from as there seems to be 2 different kinds, some with long stems and some with short, the mirrors also seem to be different sizes and its hard to tell from a pic on a website, any pics of them on cars would be appreciated, cheers.

they are shit too! I have them fitted to my car, can't see anything behind you, and they keep folding in on you. A lot of the miglia's ran them a few years back, now they just use standard mini ones.

Mine are quite a bit larger than most and they work a treat! I was a bit upset at first as i thought that they looked massive. Glad that I got them in the end, and they were only £60!

yep i can too vouch for the lack of what i can see behind me. mind you with the mini being small anyway you only need to look over your shoulder.

Ive got these but in short stem!

Not real carbon, but they don't weigh feck all, after all there only plastic and don't need to be particularly strong!

Got these in the post today

But the holes dont line up with the holes on the doors, noticed that Nic has the same ones, how did you fit them?

Cheers,

If you've got freshly re-skinned doors then there won't be any holes there needing covering up. *wink*

This was the case when I fitted mine anyway.

I'm afraid that you need to get the drill out. Use one of the original holes, drill the second.

I just used a gromit to blank off the second original hole.
