I couldn't get hold of a decent looking foggy in time for my MOT so I fitted a mk4 cluster on the drivers side (only Lol), and sprayed the reverse light red and wired it as a foggy....worked a treat!!

ohh yea, it failed on the rear plate being insecure.....it was worth a try..*laughing*

i thought about doing that ages ago but i was thinking more along the line of fitting both Mk4 lights and painting one bulb red so both lights looked the same.

i have a van know so cant do it. also with the van i have a need for a reverse light as its a pig to reverse at night and a fog light would be good as the rear lights are crap (brake and side lights are both rather small and dim). only problem is most, if not all aditional lights would look a bit poo.

I couldn't be bothered to take the tank out to fit the left side and make them match, especially just for an MOT lol

TBH I don't think he even noticed they were different lights (its not that obvious to the untrained eye). *laughing*

I quite like the big round reversing spotlamps, they look really retro, and they are damn bright!
