Hi all,
just at the minute looking for a rollcage to fit before i spray the mini,
Found theses guys:

I only live ten or so minutes away, so was wondering what you lot thought about there discriptions and stuff.

The car will be road going so im not needing a specific spec,
just want something to make the mini safer for me and me passengers. ie dont want to buy something rubish!

any comments would be great!

Hi, i have one of these, (couldnt remember the name of the company where i got it from until i saw the site) make sure you ask for it to be made from seamless. made a cage to my spec which was good, the welds are ok.. not the best i have seen, but it fits very well.

The ‘sleeve and tube joints’ thing they do is a bit shit if you just slot it together and use it like that but if you weld it all up it should be strong enough to make a difference.

Overall im happy, didn’t cost the earth either.

Ok but if you add it all up then you begin to see what a bargin the Roll Cnetre 'miglia style' cage is!!!

That is what I am going for in my own car. It is a weld in and you do have to prep the tube ends before fitting but hey, it's super strong when done.

For a road car were the cage is mainly for show and the 1,000,000:1 chance you may turn it over then something like in that like will be fine.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
