Just got my head back from Steve at Benross Racing!

What can i say... Well, a big thanks first of all.

I can not fault the service that Steve has provided, nor the cost. He has been totally awsome, informative and his work is spot on and speedy.

I'm going to be fitting this at the weekend and hope to have the car RR'ed with Ray in colchester middle of next week. Hopefully it wont make more than 130bhp as my transmission is still all standard (next job on the list though).

I've just got one tip for Mr Benross. If you remove that little lump outside the valve due to deat grinding, and remove the rough casting in the chambers, the head will breathe better and this will also improve combustion flame fronts. It will also increase the size of the chamber. It's a pig job, as it takes very accurate grinding, but is definately worthwhile.

Obviously needs doing before the valve seats are cut.

Your neighbours must love you Steve....Lol...the amount of heads/ exhaust elbows etc. you churn out, you must have that grinder on the go all day long.

for gary i was only going to open the combustion chambers out for him

when i examined the head the guides were goosed and the springs were goosed so i fitted new ones and re lapped the valves in for him

i thought while i was at it i would through him in a little port work in for free! which i did hence the guid bosses have not been removed and all the ports cleaned un

i just removed some bottle necks for him, glad you are pleased! Gray
