I have other things to be getting on with, but i need to get this finished before we go on holiday. Theres just never enogh time to do everything*indifferent*

I need to get the sports pack rims machined so they fit on the trailer hubs, another setback. Then i need to paint the thing, but it does look cool, if not a little obsessive*tongue*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I was expecting it to be on a mini subframe. That's much better. Is that a kit or all your own work?

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I bought the tub and lid. The draw bar and axle i made up my self with bits commonly available from any trailer center. The tub is way lighter than the cut up rear end steel jobbie, which is the reason i bought the FG tub (anyone want a rear end of a mini??)

If you are just after a trailer, buy one, but if you want the individuality of a custom trailer, you are going to pay for it, recon on twice the price of a standard trailer of similar capacity.

I opted for trailer hubs as the bearing loading is more even, unlike the Mini hubs. Down side is that the center holes of the wheels are too small to fit over the bearing housings. Just need to get the rims to the machine shop and then new tyres on em. Added bonus is the tow bracket on the car is really only held on with three bolts so easily and quickly removebale. Its a custom trailer, you can build it how you want *tongue*
