Hiya ive been a member of this site since i decided to turbo my little 998 mini25 back in november.

Currently i am at university and i am studying automotive technology in my final year. For my final year project i am designing a free flowing manifold for the 998cc a series/plus engine to allow easy fitment of a turbocharger above the clutch housing without any modifications to the body shell of the car.

Right now the reason for this post is if anyone has the time could you fill in the attached questionnaire so i can use it in my market research section. This would be greatyly appreciated and shouldnt take long at all.
Please email the competed questionnaire to lukesoanes25@hotmail.com

Hiya could you answer questions in a word doc then email them cos its not possible to attach a word doc so ive had to attach a pdf which cant be filled in. I know this may be asking a bit much but i would really apprieciate it

this link hopefully should take you to a word document which can be filled in thank you

Regards luke soanes

First, please don't SHOUT.

Second, welcome to Turbo Minis

Third, I can't see a link to the questionnaire.

Forth, have a word with Pete, mini1071s as he may be able to help.

I suggest you introduce yourself to a button called "caps lock" and re-type your message.

That is all I'll say (or do) until it is changed.

Good questionaire.

I'll not be clicking on the link to that forum though (LOL) so if you could include your email, that'd be champion.

I think they band him as he knew the difference between his arsehole & his exhaust elbow.

dout the turbo will fit like that will it? most people have the shaft of the turbo at 90deg to the block.

As Alex says, having the turbo mounted at that angle isn't good. It makes the exhaust point the wrong way and the air inlet point towards the block.

What about cars with servos? Are you planning it to fit these?

Surely there isn't away of fitting the turbo above the flywheel housing and a break servo, well not the late type servo maybe a remote servo.... would be tricky. put the turbo on top of the bonnet, loads of space there!

It is a bit tight. It may be possible though.

But this is wht the Mirage manifold is such a great design!
