So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

A Turbo that will deliver enough efficient boost, an intercooler that is effective at these boost levels, ignition and fuelling optimised & an engine that will take it.

Betwix Harrogate and York

I would say that 150 to 160 bananas should be easily achievable with 12 to 15psi boost.

This should propel a mini to 60 in 6 to 7 secs

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

you could call that a distributor, but it is a coil pack really. you can have it like that if you are using megajolt og the like for ignition.

a LIL fishing village on the coast - Newcastle Upon Tyne

possibly on here if you place a wanted add for an edis module / coil pack. if you are running Megajolt / mega squirt you can get edis modules off recent ford fiestas.

MegaJolt is just one type of after market ignition management system, there are many others, the beauty of MJ is that it is boost sensitive & cheaper due to it's DIY nature.

A good place to look is on the autosports website:

Big ccs, Big boost, and lots of strength and cooling for the intake air and the motor!

I've know of a fuel injected turbo 5 port mini that made post 200bhp at the fly last year, but don't know much more about it, it was developed by Graham Russel, also it's said to not be a 'long life' motor, not at all.

150hp should be very achievable and probably a better number to aim for, also you'll want good grip to handle that power too, but if you have the money to develop 200hp, and hope it holds together, go for it!
