Hi guys,

Advice on the clearance for setting the tappets. minisport told me to set them to 0.017 and well makes a racket. will try re-adjusting but advice please.

as a guide if its a standard cam 0.012 inlets

0.014 exhausts this clearence will take into consideration wear in the valve train and give you a margin of saftey

Should of stated that there roller tip 1.5.1 rockers and a kent 286 cam.
