How do i tell what cam i have, i know its been changed from chain to belt drive. as i really not sure what to set my valves at. in mm.
What you think, done a search but there's all different setups.
Just want to know what i would set my too ? :)

cam should have numbers stamped on it thats the only way you are going to know what cam it is and that means taking bits off to see

Could always clok off the top of the push rods and measure lift and duration and look at the tables most cam manufactures have on their websites.

I emailed the guy who used to own it, and he said it's a Piper turbo cam ?

safe bet is 15-16 thou depending on your rockers you are using, but you wont go far wrong with those figs.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

So what would that be,
inlet (0.35mm)
exhaust (0.40mm) ?
Not sure what rockers i have.
How would i tell, would i need to find out, or would them settings be ok :)

well 40 thou is 1mm ish so sounds about right, 15-16 thou for both mate would be fine untill you can see what cam and rokers you have.

It's a Piper turbo cam.
What do i look for to tell what rockers i have. once i find what rockers i have, what do i do to find out what the correct settings should be. i checked the valve clearance, and there were on 0 :( that not good i take it. wouldn't of done any damage would it ? thanks for your help :)

Found out there standard rockers.
So i guess 15-16 would be too much right ?

Piper say .012 (.30mm) for both in and ex for the mild road/turbo cam apprently.
