Just weighing up my options. Are carbon flip fronts anymore robust than fibre glass? Do they crack as easy etc? |

Depends on how it's layed up but if done properly for the application a carbon fibre panel will flex more than a GRP one before it cracks. Whether it's worth the extra wedge just to know you'd probably get away with a minor parking incident easier is debatable .... be beter spending the money on driving lessons ... LOL Every day is a school day ...........

When I brought the front end for my clubman, the company I brought it off advised me to go for the cheaper GRP one over the CF one, as CF offered no benefits, for what I wanted (CF will give you extra bragging right in the pub) and they both weighed the same. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
