would this work - get 2 front subframes back to back but with a gap inbetween em to fit a couple of seats, made a chassis to support the seats and mounts either end for either subframe....

the gear linkage is simple. turn the gear lever assy 180degs and run the rod under the sump back into the gear box as it would be in fwd car?

if the subbys were back to back is there a way to make the driveshafts turn the other way? |

EDIT: On a more serious note I'm not sure if it would have an effect on the suspension, if everything is backwards, I'm guessing that the tie-bars would now be in tension but I'm not entirely sure what difference that would make, initially I thought it would be decremental but the more I think about it the more confused I get. If your going to try something like this from scratch I suggest you buy a full copy of the Single Vehicle Approval guide from the DVLA (About £40 I think) as you might find that this is going to be a real PITA as far as SVA is concerned.

not sounding funny or anything but from the questiions you are asking i dont think you are up to the job at the moment.
