Just wondered if any one here runs one of these cams??? weather it's a phase 1,2,3 ,4 what ever!

If so have you the full timing details please.

If so could you please post them or PM them to me ASAP as i'm trying to work out what cam i have.

I have the figures i was given with the Phase 2, i'll post them tomorrow. I have a Phase 3 cam but they wouldn't disclose any figures, they just said time it in at 108deg.
The funny thing is my mate emailed them for details on both these cams & they sent him some figures for both. But the figures they gave him for the Phase 2 were completely different to the ones i got with the cam ..... Who do you believe ???

Ive got the sheet in front of me. not sure what means what! (well think i do but not going to claim i do!)

Full lift at 110 degrees
inlet lift of .350"
exhaust lift .390"
valve clearance of .012"

Against inlet is 22-62 and against exhaust 76-36, these are the numbers i dont understand, all the rest make sense.

Which cams that for ?

Or so it says on my sheet of paper from piper that came with the engine i bought.

So to confirm, when i time it in im looking for full lift at 110 degrees and this should be .350"?
Got it to do tomorrow and its the first one ive done. Know all about finding TDC properly etc.

That's right, but just find the highest lift point of the cam, they don't always give exactly what they say on the sheet.
I usually time mine in a couple of degress advanced as well, especially if using a chain, to allow for stretch.

yeah, will find the highest. Just need to "borrow" a DTI. Got a good lightweight duplex to go on at the same time. All good fun!

Phil i've had that ba lot as well where you get a cam and the spec sheet isn't the same as the cam that's in your hand! Very bad i think!

iain, i've got a DTI if you want to borrow it.

Ill just borrow one from work mate, cheers for the offer though. ILl get one bought soon, just cant afford to buy all the tools that i want!!!
