Whats the torque figure for the main subframe tower bolts (single bolt type), can't find it anywhere in my paperwork Here for the craic..

ive got the torque outside, its not as much as you would think, but i cant remember off hand

If you are doing a cage add about another 2 litres, painting cages is an absolute twat and you will use (READ: waste) a lot of paint to get anywhere near a decent covering on a cage.

Whats the torque figure for the main subframe tower bolts (single bolt type), can't find it anywhere in my paperwork ![]() I think this was talked about a while ago and if my memory serves me correct, then it is not possible to accurately torque up these bolts, since you are compressing a chunk rubber as you do them up, therefore good & tight is all that's required. They tighten down onto the shoulder of the bolt when the rubbers are compressed, so you should be able to torque them, they will go from easy-ish to do up when compressing rubbers then all of a sudden will go solid when the shoulder hits the subframe.
