Hi, im currently in the process of rebuilding my turbo engine and am thinking of getting it re-bored. Just wondering what your opinions were of this? And whether i should go to 1380 or 1293? Would there be much power difference? Also have been looking at the 18cc dished pistons from avonbar, does anyone have any other recommendations? Basically need as much advise as poss (other parts i might require while i have the engine apart etc). Cheers

Go to 1293!! Why on erth do you want to make it 1380?? If you rebore a 1275 to 1380, the blokk is scrap next time you have to do anything to the blokk *wink*

many people belive tha a 1380 turbo will caus problems due to bore flex, but there are now quite a few people running 1380 turbo's and thyre fine, but as pointed out, you can get a lot more life out of the block if you just go up 1 rebore size at a time.

Cheers, think il go for a 1293 as it does make more sense in the long run. Have also spotted some omega 10cc dish pistons so think il go for them. Hopefully get the block sent off this week an begin rebuilding soon. Any other help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
