The Boom Boom speaker Police!

Essex

Just got the head gasket back on and torqued up correctly this time. It all seems to be ok but after about 30mins driving the turbo started to boost unevenly in short periods, sort of fluttering.

I started her up again today and after 15mins the turbo seems to have stopped working altogether. When will this torture end! The car has been stood for a month or so and i allways let it warm up and down.

Is it new turbo time?

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

check the actuator, if you can see, take the air filter pipe off and look in the end of the turbo to look for damage and try spin by hand.

Have you got a boost guage fitted? it will only boost properly once into 3rd with plenty of load on it.
