that they can get full throttle?

I noticed a while back(about a year ago lol) that when my foot was right down the butterfly wasn't fully open and I wasn't getting full throttle.

To sort the problem I just took the pedal off and twisted it a little so it sits a bit higher than the rest.

I only remembered I did this mod last weekend on the way to Newquay when my leg started aching.. *laughing*

In my other mini a friend pointed out to me that if slid the mat back I gained another half inch of throttle.

Near Daventry, midlands

You should be getting full throttle and sometimes it does require a bit of work to get. Although it does have to be said that its not as important as on Naturally Aspirated engines and even then only if they are close to the limit of the carb i would have thought.

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

It's the first thing I check after reconnecting a throttle cable. But quite commonly missed. All good RR operators check it at some point.

Dam, I'm a clever bastard!

I didn't have enough travel in my pedal, if I adjusted the cable my idle speed was way too high. *wink*
