Are either A or A+ better than other and how do you tell them apart? (I have two different sets but don't which is which!)

This is for a 1380 NA build with 1.5 rockers and Calver RE13OT cam.

I didn't know they were different. Are they the same length?

All the same between A and A+ as far as I'm aware, 998 and 1275 ones differ in length.

The two sets I have aer both from 1275 blocks but are cewrtainly different. One set has a nice gradual taper from the 'cup' to the 'shaft' whilst the other has quite a thick cup section and a much cruder taper. The other end may be the same, I'll see if I can get photos.

Aha, I now know what you mean. It doesn't matter one blinding bit as longs are they are the same length.
The 1275 A+ ones are similar to the older 998 A ones.

Didn't think it would make much difference, but as I have sets oif both I wondered if one os better than the other.

I'd use the ones that have the least worn "pip" on them, you'll know what I mean by looking at them,

i cant remember the way round but 1 is A and the other A+
