When I got my donor engine, I thought the crankshaft would be f*cked, but I was just after some opinions on the taper end. The rest of the crankshaft is fine and journals just need a regrind.

Looks more than light surface rust TBH, but clean it up with emery and see if you can get it back to a decent surface. If not a machine shop will be able to take a few thou off the taper to reclaim it.

I'd worry more about the primary gear journals.

lol, well i wasnt planning on using it at first anyway. Reground cranks from minisport seem cheap enough. Just want to make sure they take mine as a exchange item |

Clean it up really well before offering it as an exchange item.. specially the primary gear journal, looks unusable to me. |
