I now have all the parts needed to get my turbo engine running.

I have not got a fuel pressure guage and was wondering how to set the fuel pressure without one, I am sure I saw a thread with it on but can't find it. I'm sure someone will post a link to it straight away but I have been searching for half an hour!

This is not a permanant fix and merely to assess the condition of an unkown turbo engine that I have never had running.

Thanks

I can't remember the thread either.

However, I think I might have written it.

Take off the dashpot. Set the fuel pressure regulator to minimum (screw right out) then turn on the pump.

Increase the fuel pressure (screw in regulator screw). When the pressure overcomes the needle valve you will see fuel coming out of the jet.

Reduce the pressure til the fuel stopps coming out.

Turn the pump off then on again to make sure that no fuel comes out of the jet.

Sorted.
