I have my turbo clutch housing and a standard housing ready to go to the shot blaster for a clean up.

Can i use the standard type with the smaller 1st motion bearing on my tubby engine or is the bigger turbo type needed for reliability? I will be running SC drops so the sideloading will be reduced.

The only reason i ask is i can get a standard one for £11 odd where the bigger turbo type will set me back £50 but if needs must i shall just have to dig deep.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

you mean the 1st motion shaft roller nose bearing

in short yes no problems there

but if you are building a fire breathing hi boost monster then revert to the original

hope others may comment on their experiences

Lots of people on here have been using the smaller one with success. Do a search, been covered before.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.
