has anyone got a vmax everyday 140 head on their mini, if so is it any good?
i am tempted to get one later in the year for my project.
this is what i'm thinking do far, tell me what you reckon.
1293, centre mains strap balanced tuftrided crank.
omega cast 10cc pistons
t3 turbo
intercooler
oil cooler
phase 2 cam from avonbar
two stages of boost low/high (daily driving/punishing novas)
and a decent head dump valve etc..
i am aiming for around 120-140bhp but it will be used as a daily driver so it has to be alright of boost/ on low boost

I?ve only driven the car a couple of times since fitting it though

The few times I've driven it with it on it seemed ok very drivable, haven't really nailed it to see how much quicker it is though as the fueling was way off. I?ve rebuilt another carb as the old one was knackered, it needs setting up now though.

It?s off the road at the mo because some Dozy Cow at work reversed into my car while it was parked
Insurance job. Right pain in the arse though

Had a problem on my first head from VMax turned out to have a tiny hole by one of the exhast ports. Stuart the guy at VMax was reasonable and sorted out another one and sorted out a new GRP A head gasket free too

I'd get a morspeed head.... more race wins

When and if i need a new head in the future i'll be going to vmax, i've seen these heads and they look good, priced good to. that's my thoughts on it.
