Gears Wanted! *Not Straight Cut*

Hi all,

In need of Idler Drop Gear (37 teeth) & the drop gear that goes on the end of the 1st Motion Shaft (29 teeth) to replace the standard ones off the metty turbo gearbox as mine are v.worn/teeth chipped.

Also in need of 2nd gear & outer hub as these are worn too.

If any body has upgraded to S/C gears and dont want their standard ones and they are still in good nick I would be most grateful if you let me know!

Was just bidding on some drops on ebay and some bugger outbid me with 8 seconds to go which i was most pis*ed off about.

Ive got a near complete turbo box (got all the essentials needed for donor)?

Also got a complete set of drops (helical), 1st motion gear still on 'box.

Alright buddy,

I already have a donor box which I stripped at the weekend. Basically the only worn gears were the lower two drops and 2nd (incl outer hub).

I still need an unworn helical 2nd gear & outer hub (if you are stipping your box anytime soon ) but hopefully have found some other drops on ebay - will keep you posted....

Quick question actually - although it will have been asked before - how much stronger are s/c drops? I dont see how s/c gears are that much stronger than the helical ones as helicals always have 2 teeth engaged?! This, and the noise produced by s/c drops are the reason i am not upgrading to them, am I being stupid and are s/c drops that much stronger?!

i should have the bits you want but youll have to nip up and find them in me spares tub and count the teeth as here all mixed up. should have some drops and gears of the helical variety. im in kirkby.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

that could be a winner mate, am deffo in need of second gear & hub from somewhere, as for the drops i am not sure what i am going to do:

yep ok. ill pm you me number. ring us when you wanna come up. dont know what condition there in tho. oh youll need old clothes coz everything is very dusty at the mo.
