On the metro ; the bottom of the downpipe was attached to a bracket via a uclamp

Does anyone bother making one on their mini ?

I think he means like using a bracket to hold the down pipe secure to the block i think. likethe gearbix exhaust mounts on minis

sorry my posts have been so crap . benn v. v. busy 2day at work

the exhaust dont knock ; its fine ; but the downpipe on metro where it curves under the car it used to be fixed to the block;

like with the ol' LCB manifolds it was well important because as the engoine rocks it wouldnt pull the y piece apart

I am just wondering if I need to fix the downpipe to the block ;

I cant see as its importantants becasue of the balls in the exhaust should take up any movement shouldnt they ?
