I'm not 100% sure but I believe there was never this combination from the factory. Certainly when I have wanted to use this combination I have always had to create it myself.
Every day is a school day ...........

it is possible to use a pre engaged starter on a non verto flywheel without modifying the ring gear, even sounds a bit like a formula 1 car starting.. |

I used the wrong ring gear starter combo once before, by accident, really not keen with the unhealthy sound!

Of course that's because the starter gear makes more noise turning the flywheel round without perfect teeth on the flywheel. I've been running this setup for 60.000 km without any problems, so the "wrong" ring gear doesn't damage the starter that much..
