i know that in the very near future i will want more power, and the current engine will be very tired, so to be prepared for it, i want a new engine and gearbox ready to drop in. i dont just want to pay someone for it, but i want to learn how to do it so i can have a go my self, the next time, but i will also pay for who evers time at the same time, i dont expect this service for free. i supose you have to be close enough to me so i can come and take part and have experiance your self so i have the reasurance of giving you my hard earned:)

pot dan, seriously, spend the bucks on that bill sollis how to build a 1380 dvd, its a decent vid to learn the basics on how to put a motor together,

thanks for the replies! i will get on with it then, i have a 1275 turbo engine spare in the garage, will go and buy the dvd and see what we come up with:) expect a lot of questions, lol

From time to time AC Dodd runs engine building workshops, I realise that he is miles away from Bradford, but I would strongly recommend going along to one if you can. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

had a look on ebay and google and things, and can find the dvd for 25 dollers. can you get it cheeper anywhere or is this just what its going to cost?

make sure that the dvd can be played over here. i.e. its region 2 or you have a region free dvd player otherwise cheap isnt a lot of use! |
