Looking for one for my missus to try with her ipod shuffle (old type usb stick one), but am finding mixed opinions on all that I've looked at.

My mate Phil (one with 306 not the objectionable one with ginger hair) you have met Neil uses one of these gadgets, he brought it along when we went on a trip to Brighton in a rented van, worked a treat all the way, I expect if you are really picky the music quality isn't quite as sharp but it was certainly good enough for a spot of Chris Rea's "Road to Hell" whilst stuck on the M25.

That is the same type as I have. Cost me a pound from ebay (7 quid postage) Don't pay more than a tenner for them. It works well enough although sometimes the signal produces is not strong enough to overcome the normal radio so you can spend ages re-tuning it.

They are in total garages at present for £10, the cheap china ones work well enough. |

I got one in the US before they where legal here. I have had it for about 2 years now and it's never missed a beat. Ok Sound could be better but it's radio. Also try get one that feeds it power from the iPod if you have one as it will save you loads on batteries.
