been looking at a possible daily driver 1972, but the paint is shocking, the lad says he has not G3'd it yet ? what is that ? wet and dry or summit ?

nope, its a cutting compund polish. fooking good stuff and comes in different grades.

Use with care though. It can and will take all the paint off and leave the primer showing if you are not careful.

very true! tis brilliant stuff, i've just bought a cheapo polisher from the paint factors, like a 9" grinder but less rpm, came with some differant heads for cutting compounds/polishes etc etc
SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia

yeah use loads of water, and keep the polisher moving.. and do it out side (not near anything else) unless you dont mind the garage / house / neighbours etc getting splattered in wax/paint type crud.

Watch any sharp edges as it will be through the paint before you can blink.

id take some with you when you go to view it. and before you buy it ask him can you try a bit, just to make sure it will polish up. if he wants to sell it and isnt lieing he'll let you no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

aye cheers guys, looks like the sale is off, he wants 600 for it, i will post u the link off ebay, i offered 475 - 500 see what you think. says he will get back to me if the sale fall through tomorow the floor needs welding up etc. dunno how it got through an MOT...well i do, but not a leagal one !

i had one like it and i used wet and dry followed by t cut then pollished up took fekin ages !!
