Oulton Park

Stnadard 1275 head and valve redone and head redone when under load like going up a hill get alot of smoke out theback why is this and what is worn.

why it went in the first place the head burnt right through the gasket at two and three i thought it was valves so had them done now not so sure cos still smoking.

i realy can never understand you. try to give more infomation, write in english and you may get more replies/help.

not being funny or anything its just that its very hard work to work out what you mean.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Piston rings worn?
Usually when under load and smoking it's rings
When on over run and smoking it's valve guides.
Unless the Turbo is goosed when it will smoke anyway.
You are having some bad luck aren't you

In the garage......again!!

do you have a lot of pressure in the crankcase, puffs of smoke coming out the breathers, smoke coming from the oil dipstick etc, sure sign that the rings are knackered.

133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi
Shakespear RWYB 14.995 91.83mph
