Forgotten more than most ever know

Montego Turbos were not 1275, either 1660 or 2000. Not sure which. Anyway, one of the pistons have 84,91 marking so simply forget these. Overboring the 1275 to 85 mm makes a true siamesed bore engine, not just the head...

Yeah they were 2000cc O series 8v. Which is basically the same block as the M and T series 16V 2000

Starlet turbo pistons are circa 73 or 73.5mm as std....

Small dinky wee things, with even smaller rods !!!

They look so tiny compared to a Mini rod.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Accralites webpage has a search where you can search by diameter, deck height ect. not many pistons on it but a few.

I quite like the bike pistons idea, but the hugely expensive rods knock that one on the head. I'd love a decent milling machine :)
