i wwant to clean my block inside&out as best as possible at home, what do you chaps recommend?

I use a steam cleaner, but a large industrial one, I bet a pressure washer would do a simular job. You can also use brick acid, avaible from all builders merchants. If not then good old petrol does a good job.

i have has the block machined all the threads checked, threaded oil galley plugs & i want to give it a good clean to make sure theres no swarf or lil metal bits before i locktight my galley plugs in place & paint the block, i'm just trying to be super clean with it!

i have brick acid, would i dilute it a bit jimster? i also have a pressure washer & a stand i can mount the block on, i have a few pipes to stick in a few holes in the thing too!

i have thinners n parrafin too! gotta have this stuff about! it all smells so nice *happy* hehe

I usually get mine acid dipped then hot bathed at my local engineering firm. It only cost me 25 nicker a time! And there fookin clean after, gets all old paint off!

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

how do i go about cleaning the oil galley ways???? i want to make sure they are crud free before locking my threaded galley plugs in!

there is only 2 galley plugs on the 998 aint there? hmmm

the timing side is the dirty-ist! lots of old gasket stuck on the block really hard!

theres oilways all over it it how do i know they're clean? i've got some spraygun brushes to poke about hehe
