Well in the space of twelve weeks ive managed to break both of my fibula's!!!!! Bone from knee to ankle!

Twelve weeks ago i was playing football and blocked a shot, the lad kicked my leg instead of the ball and broke me right leg! told not to play for 10 weeks,
12 weeks pasted and got asked to play again on wedensday! so said yes!
Someone passed the ball, and i turned to meet it, but ended up in a heap on the floor! got took home, then went to the doctors yesterday to get it checked! and they sent me to a+e!

they found a fracture! but this time its the left leg and not the right!!! so i got another pot on!!! :(

holiday in 4weeks!
if its not off by then then im cutting it off!!!!!

take a calcium suppliment in your diet! they can advise in places like holland & barrat or gnc, & 7seas one a days with added omega's & minerals, that should heal you quicker & help toughen up the old bones, doing weights makes ya bones more dense so wont break/fracture so easy, all will be well

thats bad luck mate.. i broke my foot playing footy, was told not to play again. *frown*

so gave up playing semi pro last season.. still play 5's once a week but not as competitive.

stupid bones.

:( its the mini thats suffering!!!!!

At school someone broke their tibia when someone stood on his heel as he was walking. It went "crack!" and we all heard it! It's not the strongest bone in the body. Yes weights and martial arts strengthens bones and ligaments, that's why some of those guys can break concrete etc.

dont play football, drive instead :), some people have a condition which give weaker bones. to be honest i would lay off the sports for a long while and let your body build back up a bit stronger

Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Have you ever been tested for ostiporosis? have you ever been on a long course of medication. (sorry bout the spelling) My mum is being treated for intermediateuvituse and with all the pills she is on she has to take calcium supplement to counteract some of the meds she is on weakening her bones?
