Hiya

I currently have 4.5 * 10 steel wheels on my mk1 with 165 70 10 's
They stick out about an inch
Problem is i really dont want to put arches on and spoil the look of my mk1
What are my options re getting wheel tyre combo's to fit under without arches ? I want to stay on 10's of course !

Its funny in all my days Ive wanted the biggest wheels with big arches now I am regressing back to standard looks ...

Must be my age !

get the 'proper' cooper S wheels, although very expensive

Minispares do a minilite style wheel that will fit with no arches, I have them on my car, think they are 5x10's

Cooper S offset 10" alloys will do the trick, different offset to normal ones to move the wheel in, still available I believe try MiniSpares.

Tom that sounds good ; I guess mine are 4.5 reverse rims ?
I must say I am not an expert on the differences on these rims
Are the original cooper rims 4.5 as well but with a different offset ?

yes. Thats correct. Minispares minilife 4.5"x10" aluminum wheel have the correct offset.

I guess the different offset was to cater for the Disc assembly and the spaced rear drums ?

Cheers All !!!

You guess correctly!

Reverse rims were suited to cars with the narrow track (drums on front, narrow drums on rear)
