Average waiting times for stuff from *****?

Im just wondering, no dig at the company or anything, but whats the average waiting time for bits from *****?

A couple of my friends have ordered recently and have been waiting ages now/had to wait ages, the last time one of them ordered a few months back he was told the 'item' would arrive by wednesday but had to wait about 3 weeks before calling up to see where it was.

Im wanting to order a few parts this week, id like to use **** again because i like them, theyre friendly people, and I dont want to turn to ebay, but why the long order times? Does this happen to everyone or is it just coincidence that its happened to all 3 orders of two of my friends recently?

Not had any problems myself.

they are a little slow at times but.. you get the goods feebs ask ian or roland to post for you the same day Please......!!!

Always been next day for me.

if theres anything performancewise that i need in a rush, ill use them

Anything that ive ordered has always arrived next day. Unlike some companies that take your money, and then a week later when you ring up, say they dont have it instock! (cough minispares)

Why has this post been edited? I clearly remember that it said Avonbar previously. Is this Minifinity?

He edited it himself mate, possibly to stop another shitty bitchy thread.

The only time i didn't get something next day was because it wasn't in stock. However, i was told this was the case on the phone.

I know you weren't digging at the company and it's good that you removed the name, just thought i'd add some feedback. I think it's probably a case that your mate has been unlucky. Everyone makes mistakes at some point.

i ordered something from them recently and it was posted the same afternoon

i've never had any problems with them, they always go out their way to help out.

I think it is worth remembering that if you leave things to the last minute to order stuff that you will, occassionally, be disappointed!!!!

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

I don't use Avonbar that much (maybe i should use them more),

but still their service has always been good,

I ordered some gauges and a braided oil gauge hose from them once, the gauges turned up, but no hose I thought "the buggers have forgot it despite charging for it" but no, they didn't have it in stock, it turned up later that day they had got it delivered direct from the manufacturer!

been waiting for a turbo exhaust from them for two weeks, ordered it, they took my money, but didn't tell me there was no link pipes in stock until i rang asking where it was.

how do you go about getting the TM discount when ordering online, you can't alter the bottom line price?.
