Effectively,. no. This is a bit of an old one now, but here's the run down:

Effectively,. no. This is a bit of an old one now, but here's the run down: As standard they will not fit under anything less than 12s. Some people have managed to turn down the discs and modify the calipers to fit under tens but the general consensus is that this is a bit dangerous. Dangerous in the wrong hands yes but what do you think the Miglia boys used pre alloy calipers! 4 pots can be made to successfully fit under any 10 inch wheel safely. Turbo Dave will be able to tell you if the Fiesta route will give as good brakes as S discs/4pots as this is the other cheap option. From memory I think the Fiesta brakes on paper were not as good as S discs? On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

I have a cooper S Setup, but i like the look of the 4 Pots from the Metro but i do prefer the Alloy ones, think i might sell my Cooper S Setup and Buy an Alloy Set. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

My S ones were pretty good. The Fiesta ones look crap, i cant see how a 1 pot brake can be better than 2 but im no expert. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

1 pot sliding and 2 pot fixed should be the same (roughly but I guess in this cas the Siesta caliper is alloy and pad may be bigger), 2 pot sliding is a different story though. Edited by Jay#2 on 18th Jun, 2007. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

got F-Brakes on mine with 7.9 discs to fit under 10's and it stops very well. never driven on an S setup. I'm using a .70 MC I might go upto a .75 to see how that effects things. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

but, i find its people that don't have them saying they're not as good and people that use them say they're fine :S I've been running them for a while now and they are about the same as 8.4" brakes, they may be marginally better or worse but I can't tell. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
