theyre hardy spicer joints, but not sure those dif covers will be suitable for a rod change box

Minispares sell the diff covers with the proper flange. They're told to be power sapping compared to the pots, but I really like them.

If you buy a new diff cover for a rod box, I'll be interested in one of those *wink*

i found them in a box with some of my turbo bits i had in hibernation *tongue*

i dont know when or where i got these joints but if they could be used in a turbo application i'll keep them, i think the driveshafts are differant too are'nt they, i dont have those though!

if they cant be used on a turbo for whatever reason ebay will get them more than likely

That's because they are the same *wink*

THey use regular old rubber joint driveshafts. Remember that these need special output shafts from the diff as well.

How many members have bust a pot joint?

I have, but slicks and a lot of landing after being on 2 wheels are to blame.

They are the push in ones that fit pot joint diff shafts

There are two three types of diff flange that look like these
1) The pictured ones are Cooper S and some early automatics
2) The automatic only ones have no bolt in the middle and slide on the shaft just like pot joints with an internal circlip
3) LSD ones which again have no bolt but are integral with the splined diff output shaft.

Cooper S ones have a larger outer diameter
