My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

You only have to remove the laygear to be able to remove the old pipe and install the new COPU.
It's dead easy, the layshaft pushes out once the keyway behind the pinion has been removed, then the laygear & oil pickup can be extracted. It takes a bit of jiggling to get the laygear back in while trying to install the new pipe at the same time, but it's not to bad.
Get to it ... *wink*

You'll wish you have bothered after your lump seizes up after a "gung ho" assault on a large roundabout!!!

get it fitted!

only the lay gear comes out..consult your Haynes manual!

As Everyone says....

Seriously, it's a maximum of 25 minutes work for someone who's never done one before - nearer 15 minutes for an experienced bod. An absolute doddle.

i placed the pick up in the gearbox and saw that that holes did not lin up.

i can bend it into shape and bold it. or lose the tab all together.

what do you think. the way i think is what isn't in the box can't go lose and destroy my geaurbox, in case i bold it.

it's now only bolted with the original 2 bolts and i can't move it. so maybe it's time for the grinder.
what did you do?

there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.
