Hurry up steve, get your intercooler mounted and working, i need to know what pipes/sizes/lengths to order! cmon your letting the side down!!!

Intercoolers ..... well now this is the thing thats been stressing me the most
I know where I am going to put it now ; so thats good ...

But the hoses are gunna cost a fortune ...

I think I may go for

1 90 bend from the intercoler
1 90 ben under the plenum to get it to head over the rocker cover

then

1 straight bit from the plenum ( 6 inches or so )
1 Staright bit from the other end of the Intercooler

So far about ?40 !

Then I will join them up with a 2" exhaust pipe , cut and bent and migged back up again !!

Other wise its costs so much money !!

Well today i fit the breathers and things and miniwilliams home made plenum intercooler redirector thing. I also did the final coat of paint on my brakes and got them ready. Took the hubs off for my friend to take htem away on monday, hes doing my ball joints and wheel bearings. Hes also welding in my turbo box on monday.

I made a bracket like jimsters that holds the whole engine by the two top rocker cover nuts and tested it, and it works :)

Im using one of miniwilliams' bolt on redirectors for the intercooler from the plenum. that means ive had problems with the pipe that comes up from the turbo, Think i have got round this problem though by rotating the upwards pipe from the turbo and bolting it on again, it faces more towards the bulkhead so i might need to bray that out a bit, but at least it clears the top hose part. Right now i can see me just fitting some 90 degree bends iwth a dump valve fitting kit inline, without an intercooler, just until i plan it. At least ill get it runnig this week. Are they 48mm wise the pipes yeah? Ill get hold of iain!
