Right now i know alot of people say fit dump valves as close to the carb as possible, but in doing this surely u are releasing all the pressure in the boost hoses so when a gear change is made the turbo has to fill them up again!! Would it not be better to fit it close to the turbo so when u back off, the turbo is free to spin as it wants and u leave some pressure in the intercooler/boost hoses?? Will probably run it off the plenum like most do then, to be honest the only reason why im fitting one is because its a mini and want to let people know its a turbo -MINI CLUBMAN 1380 TURBO- |

Alex but on mini you don't get much "turbo chatter" as you put it, I've tryed on mine and you can't hear it from out side the car.

If they did'nt make any noise i would'nt bother as they only help on cars with massive turbos running big boost!
Ive allready tried fitting it there but got lots of over boost
