Not really a medical anomaly, just a mechanical one.

What is the importance of the different sized unions on the upright (non servo) yellow tag master cylinder?

The lines have the same bore, i'm presuming its so they cannot be mixed up when attaching them from the bias valve?!?

If it's not important, i'm going to make up an adapter to fit a baided hose kit, that only came with one size of banjo fitment.

BTW does anyone know the thread sizes of the master?

Cheers
Chris

off the top of me head the larger one is metric and m10, think the smaller one is 3/8" UNF. best wait for someone else to confirm for sure though as i'm not sure what pitch the M10 one is.

Working up the BHP ladder.

I believe (not certain) that the main reason is so you dont/cant mix em up chris as you say. Think the yellow tag master cylinder is a stepped bore, different fluid travel for front and rear.

Yeah thats right, there are two sections to the yellow tag, one feeds the rear and one the front. I think its so if you get a leak at the rear your fronts will still have fluid allowing you to stop and vice versa.

I took your advice and did indeed measure it, only after making a duff adapter first LOL

The threads for anyone who wants to know are

M10x1 upper hole on master cylinder

M12x1 lower hole on master cylinder

Cheers
