In the midle of rebuilding my cylinder head and I am using Rimflo valves EN214N.

Best choice for least amount of wear.

Not too bothered about the heat conductivity I just dont want to be rebuilding the head every year.

I use the minspares mangonese bronze guides with rimflows and are very impressed with them compared to previous iron guides.

It's a bit of a funny question really. I suspect the steel guides will last the longest, but how much longer?

The best way to reduce guide wear is to use standard ratio rockers with a roller tip.

I'm sure most guides will last 20 to 30k easy.

leeds/wakefield.

if i'm changing guides i use calsibro guides from specialised valves[ Paul Ivey], ive seen these last an age in competition, usually needing worn valves replacing before guides,
