Are the Donuts located in the subframe properly, and the hi-lo's located properly in the donuts?

I remember that when i set the hilos full out after installing them to set them up, and going down the road. The garage that did them for me said they would settle. Hahah no traction and could hardly see over the bonnet. They needed alot of tuning, but even just half screwed in my car is sat on its arse, so i think theres a problem if yours is still high when fully screwed in. when i fitted my hilos i lowered it and it looked real good, but after a couple of days driving the wheels were scrubbing the arches.

might be a daft question but is your engine in? no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

if the rubber cones are reasonably new they might run higher anyway cos they havent degraded or softened but i would have thought on max drop i would be ok.
