Ladies and Gents,

I have spoken to Dave Hollis of the British Mini Club and i have offered to run a leader board for all the classes at AvonPark this year. BMC seemed very gratefull of my offer and have taken it up.

Everything has been sorted out my myself.

The Leader board will be updated over the weekend showing times and positions for all classes.

It is funded my me and going to be run my our "TURBOMINIS" web site users. This leader/position/timing board has been long overdue. Our website will be advertised as the board will be enblazened with WWW.TURBOMINIS.CO.UK as we are the sponsors of it.

So what i am after over the Avon Park weekend is some reliable volunteers to help keep the board updated as the positions change. Voluteers required to help with this simple task.

Thanks

Jon Flanigan

Nice one, it will not take alot of work to keep updated. We will get Dave Hollis on the tanoy system to remind the drivers to approach our "operatives" with their timing ticket when they believe they have a top 3 time, also radio connact with the tower can keep the times adjusted as the positions change.

Our leaderboard will be situated near the fireup lane in front of the grandstand, right in the centre of the action for all to see.

Dead simple, just take it turns and it won't effect anyone running as i am sure many hands will like to help.

Thankyou to all all the kind volunteers, i know most of the people turning up and now believe i have suffient "bods" to keep it running.

I will get the board and the graphics ready for use as soon as possible and on the weekend i'll give people a little breif as to what is happening after talking and finalising points with the BMC staff.

Thanks all,

Jon.
