Is it OK to get standard manganese bronze guides and just get them reamed out for the larger soduim valves?

YES! i do these regular

put them in a lathe and pop a 7.5mm drill down and then ream them out with a 8mm reamer there after,( each one!)

dont remove from the chuck untill drilled and reamed each one

contact minispares north ask for richard or jim
