You may find to get your car spot on you'll have to have the needle modified on a decent rolling road. An off the shelf one might be near if you're lucky.

My advice is don't guess, ?100 on the rolling road is money well spent compared to a new set of pistons a block and a head!

If it is very mildly teaked you will get away with it, but IMO when the boost is up seek professional guidance in the form of a rolling road session.

Woa!! dont get me wrong, i know the importance of a rolling road. im usually the first to say 'SET IT UP ON A RR'.... i take my RSP Cooper S twice a year!.

what i need to know is a rough idea of a ball park needle for the boost conditions i will be running until i get to the rolling road. its a fair way to the nearest RR and i dont want the pistons melting on the way there!!

i can make my own up if necessary. just need info!!

Cheers..

if you look at the difference between peoples needles , with same kind of spec its amazing ie mig wire and welding rods.

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....
