Well after a long day of welding the new turbo was fited to the car. Here it is just before we fitted it and realised it did not seal on the flange correctly. All sorted now and ready for Wil to take it to the rollers next week.

haha, you're not wrong!! In our defense, it really was a pain in the arse.

Nic, it's on the piss because it uses a T2 adaptor plate; these have to fit on the piss. The photo exagerates it piss-angle.

Ha Ha. The welding took about 10 mins. It was the cutting the fitting, the unfitting, the grinding, the oh bollocks it leaks that took the time. I am quite pleased with it thoughm, so neeer.

I made mine sit at an angle when fitting the T2, provides better clearance.
Will be interesting to see the results lads. :)

my t2 on metro manifold sits straight with no problems. some people fit it pissed because Turbo Dave did it years ago for more space and to relocate the stud holes to hold the turbo.

Yes we used the TD method. As I say, the photos make it look worse than it is. If you look at it on the car you'd not notice.

It dose make the exhaust a bit easier.
