Well after a long day of welding the new turbo was fited to the car. Here it is just before we fitted it and realised it did not seal on the flange correctly. All sorted now and ready for Wil to take it to the rollers next week.

Nic, it's on the piss because it uses a T2 adaptor plate; these have to fit on the piss. The photo exagerates it piss-angle. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I made mine sit at an angle when fitting the T2, provides better clearance.

it will be very interesting to see how vit compares with the t2 .is it the same rr you used with the old turbo ?

my t2 on metro manifold sits straight with no problems. some people fit it pissed because Turbo Dave did it years ago for more space and to relocate the stud holes to hold the turbo. |

Yes we used the TD method. As I say, the photos make it look worse than it is. If you look at it on the car you'd not notice.
