just after an idea of the thickness in mm of the 998 head gaskets, i have nowt to measure mine with, i'm calculationg my C/R
SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia

on big bore engines a guideline is 3.8cc compressed.

That's very rough, as the bore and stroke ratio is not the same on 998 and 1275s. The bore is important here, not the stroke. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

Based on a compressed thickness of 0.8mm and a gasket bore of 65mm at the fire ring you will find the volume is 2.655cc.
