Is £60 a good price for a 2nd hand 3.1 crownwheel and pinion ?

Most 998 A+ boxes are fitted with a 3.1 diff.

I would have thought you could have got a complete box for £60.

If it was a rarer 2.76 or 2.95 then £60 is not unreasonable, in my opinion.

So what should i be paying, no more then £50 ?
Thought i'd change mine to a 3.1, as from what ive read, there better...

i would have thought £25, or £30 max

theres plenty of them about as (as axel says) they were in most of the 998 a+'s

i payed 20 quid for the last one. just go on ebay youll get a full engine for that

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Oh really, that cheap.
Ive got a 3.4 in mine.
But was thinking of changing to a 3.1 to go With my new minispares diff.
2nd opinon, That be a good change to do then ?

personaly i would chance to a 3.1 as this diff would optimise the torque more.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

Not saying you dont know ya stuff, coz ive read your the daddy at the gearbox side :)

yes £60 is way to much but like every thing else any thing to do with minis is slowly getting more expensive as there is less stuff going around so prices are rising.
