when iget the origninal turbo pistons removed fomr the rods i want to sell them they are out of a running car which wasn't smokey apparently and look alright but not great.
how much should i sell em for??

Bear in mind rings are not available. I personally wouldn't give a fiver for then. If rings were available, that'd be a different story.
Also, the 'full skirt' pistons like the AE turbo and Minispares pistons are very difficult, if impossible to remove from the rods without deforming the piston slightly. You have to remember the skirt of pistons aren't round, but oval. They are also tapered, being a smaller diameter at the top.
The 2 tons or whatever force required to press out the pins easilly puts them out of shape...

the act of removing them normally kills the pistons, which are all but worthless 2nd hand anyway!!

If you did want to seel them...

you could always sell them on the rods, remember that all 1275 rods are the same (bar some older stuff I think). So you could use some other rods...

I have spares if you need some..
