Got the new pistons and they are off to have the cc opened up to 11cc, Engines only done 100 mils and the honing marks are still there, I really dont want to remove the cam, timing cover. crank etc. to have have it rehoned.

So what do y'all think--- would this be OK as it is????

And what about the scuffs??

If you are putting the same pistons/rings back in the same bores, there should be no problem.

when you put your nail on that, do you feel the scuffs?
if it does I would go back to machine shop for a good honing, understand your point about crank/cam cleaning etc but worth at term,
if it doesn't I would give a light hone stone drill (don't know the rea
